Production Manager Canada

We are a team of almost 900 people in full growth with factories located in Europe (Portugal, France, Germany and Switzerland), North America (Canada and USA) and Africa (Morocco and South Africa).
We are looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
The production manager in Kingston will oversee our production team of 50 employees. Working closely with our Quality, Maintenance, RD, Logistics and Customer Service teams. With a main focus on quality, health and safety and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staff control and management;
- Responsible for the effective functioning and production quality;
- Coordination of the different departments work;
- Controlling the Production staff documents for additional work validation and for service communication; and sending those documents to the Human Resources department;
- Be part of the daily organoleptic tasting of the products;
- Monitoring Industrial Tests and CCP’s;
- Increase / enhance improvements in productivity / production efficiency;
- Control of line information boards / control of daily production efficiency;
- Participation in the preparation of the annual budget;
- Participation in the weekly analysis of the production efficiency reporting;
- Participation in the quarterly analysis of the factory's budget deviation, and assessment of its performance;
- Should ensure compliance of the OPRP’S and PRP’S throughout the facility;
- Member of the HACCP Team;
- Receiving invoices and planning production;
- Incorporation of reprocessable products;
- Providing feedback to R&D regarding the product control panels;
- Validating raw materials, temperatures, and flows of industrial tests;
- Participating in projects of continuous improvement;
PROFILE
- Education: College Diploma or University Degree;
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience, in similar roles;
- Training: HACCP (preferable);
- Good knowledge working with MS Office tools;
- Must be able to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment, work effectively both independently and within a team.
