Junior Key Account Manager Food Service

We are currently more than 900 Frulacteans, bringing know-how to our customers from our production factories located in Europe (Portugal, France, Germany and Switzerland), North America (US and Canada) and Africa (Morocco and South Africa).
We are looking for a Junior Key Account Manager/Business Developer Food Service to join our Business Development team.
Location: Maia and Home office
Reports to: Head of Business Development – Southwestern Europe & Africa
Department: Business Development
Travel: Up to 30–40% (client visits, trade shows, Frulact sites)
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our Food Service development, we are looking for a junior, sales-driven profile willing to grow into a Key Account Manager role.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Manage and develop a portfolio of small existing clients across Portugal, Spain, and France;
• Actively contribute to the prospection of targeted new customers;
• Support the sales team with pricing offers preparation and opportunity follow-up;
• Provide local operational support to the commercial team (internal coordination, client follow-up, sales administration support);
• Ensure regular client follow-up to identify needs and business opportunities;
• Contribute proactively to the team’s commercial performance.
PROFILE
• Bachelor’s, Sales school, or equivalent;
• First sales experience or strong interest in B2B sales (food industry is a plus);
• Good level of English (mandatory);
• Spanish and/or French is a plus;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Organized, proactive, and team-oriented;
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
